His works have been collected by the British Museum in London and received the Kinki Prize, the highest award at the Japan Traditional K\u014dgei Kinki Exhibition. He has been highly evaluated both domestically and internationally. Additionally, he actively disseminates information through videos about his production and works, and holds events for planting urushi trees.<br>\u30fbIn the past, urushi harvesting was also actively carried out in our prefecture, but now domestic urushi sap is extremely rare.
